The catalyst regeneration section consists of integrated equipments and connected to the reaction section of platforming unit.
The principal function of this section:
- Catalyst circulation.
- Catalyst regeneration.
Catalyst regeneration takes place in the following steps:
- Coke burn.
- oxychlorination
- Catalyst drying and cooling
- Reduction
